Job Description: Presbyterian Senior Living is looking has an opening for an experienced Community Manager at a Senior Living Community in Scranton, PA within our Affordable Housing Management Division. 

The Community Manager plays the key role in all day-to-day operations of the apartment communities, help maximizing the property’s net operating income and ensuring optimal performance of the property. You will supervise a team, and will be responsible for effectively leasing apartments, processing renewals and recertifications, maintenance, expense control, revenue enhancements, resident services, reporting, and compliance to the corporate office and regulatory agencies, among other duties.

Job Requirements: The successful candidate will possess the ability to multitask, make smart and timely decisions with guidance from the Area Manager, and react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response with superb communication and problem solving skills. He or she will be highly self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative, collaborative work style, and have strong leadership skills. The candidate should have a passion for providing exceptional service and find great satisfaction in helping to create a community.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and a minimum of two years property management experience or related field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and email applications. While not required, preferred candidates will have an affordable housing background, preferably project based Section 8. Industry certifications a plus. Limited travel may be required.
