Fair Housing Compliance
The Fair Housing Compliance (FHC) course is a comprehensive program offered by the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) for property management staff. NAHMA’s Fair Housing Compliance course trains managers to understand complex fair housing regulations.
Each participant will receive a copy of the NAHMA Fair Housing manual, which was updated in 2016. The one-day program is composed of seven hours of classroom instruction an online “take home” exam. Individuals must pass this exam to obtain the FHC designation. The FHC is a requirement for NAHMA’s National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP) certification program.
All participants who successfully complete the course will receive a FHC certificate and pin, and be listed in NAHMA’s Online Credential Directory.
It is encouraged that students bring a highlighter and other writing implements to the course.
